We'll See His Face

As many of you know, I love to dance! I have since I was five years old! I hope to continue to take classes and dance at Lindenwood next year. This afternoon during pop culture, we were in the computer and I (being a good student) took that time to watch dance videos on Hall Of Fame Dance. My favorite dance that I've seen on that particular website is a dance called Love Lost. Here is the link...

It is such a beautiful dance with an amazing song! It's called The Face by RyanDen

Lyrics:
"Traveler of the great divides
Vagrant on a path to life

Everyday feels a little closer
To where it is that you're headed for
Given to a hope of so much more

For every time you fall apart
There'll be a soul to guide your journey
But if you choose to turn away
There in the mirror
You'll see my face
You'll see my face

Think you're on this road alone
Looking for a truth untold

Many times you've been close to breaking
Giving up and letting go
Something inside says it's not over

For every time you fall apart
There'll be a soul to guide your journey
But if you choose to turn away
There in the mirror
You'll see my face

And when the world crowds your space
Remember days when noise was silent
No empty vows, loveless displays
Just a sense of knowing
You'd see my face
You'd see my face"

This is a song about two lovers, but I love taking songs like this one and putting a spiritual spin on them. I see this song as Jesus' love song to us. Reread the lyrics in that way. It's such a beautiful reminder of how much Jesus loves us and no matter how many times we turn away, we can always turn back to him and "see His face." Also, the lyrics say "every day feels a little closer, to where it is that we're headed for." Heaven is our ultimate reward and each day we are closer to our final destination. God has so graciously promised to guide our journey and walk with us every step of the way.

Just a few thoughts to think about and I recommend going to listen to this song!
That's all for now :)
